Tuition fees (2021/22 intake)

  • Tuition fee: HK $ 75,000 per year (2 installments)

Basic Admission Requirements


HKDSE Qualifications
  • Obtained Level 2 or above in five HKDSE subjects including English and Chinese. Each applicant is allowed to use not more than two Applied Learning subjects in the application (22222), and pass the admission interview.

Other Qualifications
  • Obtained HKCEE 5 passes with specific subjects including Level 2/Grade E in English Language and Chinese Language and HKAL/AS with specific results-1AL or 2AS subjects and pass the admission interview; OR
  • Obtained equivalent qualifications (local or overseas)* and pass the admission interview

  • *Pass in English and Chinese Language Admission Tests arranged by the College.
Applicants with the above qualifications are required to have an interview.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Programme, students should be able to:
  1. demonstrate responsibility and effectiveness in self-directed learning, in planning and conducting investigations into issues and problems, in analyzing and evaluating the information provided and in the sharing or presentation of findings to others;
  2. show critical thinking and some creativity in solving familiar and some unfamiliar problems within largely familiar contexts, meeting any specified standards provided;
  3. demonstrate the ability to read and listen to extended information, organize the information provided coherently and convey the ideas in speech and writing effectively;
  4. demonstrate the ability to work with others in a group and to take some responsibility for the outcomes of group work;
  5. apply a range of generic skills, including language, interpersonal communication, information technology and analytical skills in healthcare and for the development of lifelong learning;
  6. assess the physical, psychosocial and spiritual state of individuals and his/her families;
  7. identify problems and concerns experienced by individuals and their families;
  8. formulate, implement and evaluate care delivered to individuals and their families;
  9. adopt evidence-based care practice to meet the needs of a diverse population in the healthcare environment, notably elderly care and persons with disabilities in residential care homes, community care support facilities or their own homes; and
  10. improve continuously the quality of care provided for individuals and their families.
